About SD

SD Stalzer is a writer, photographer, and mindfulness practitioner. His poetry has appeared in numerous publications, most recently Beyond Words Literary Magazine, Scribe, Move Me Poetry, Know Thyself Heal Thyself, For Awe, and The Power of Poetry, and will be included in the upcoming anthology, We Are the Waves. A classically trained composer of musical pieces for voice, piano, and chamber instruments, SD’s poetry focuses on the intersection of human and spiritual experiences, framed through the lenses of rhythm, form, and the natural world. When he is not in front of a computer, he enjoys doing just about anything outdoors: riding horses in the Bighorn Mountains; visiting islands on the Atlantic Ocean; or wading waist-deep in a cold river, praying for trout with a fly rod in hand.
